Church of England Services - Baldersby St James Church
Once a month Baldersby St James Church hosts an informal relaxed service – café style, over a breakfast of croissants and tea/coffee in Rainton Village Hall.
Lead by Rev'd Susanne Jukes Rainton Village Hall provides an informal setting for adults and children alike to learn about Christian beliefs and experience the support of the church community.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Prayer Breakfast which takes place every third Sunday at 9:15am for 45minutes.

Methodist Church Services
Rainton has had a Methodist society in the Village from around the 1790’s. The Chapel which was built in 1868 was considered unsafe to use a couple of years ago and has now been sold and converted to a residential dwelling.
This has not deterred the members who moved into Rainton Village Hall for their worship and meetings. Everyone is welcome to attend, with services taking place on Sundays at 2pm.
